The German Embassy
would like to draw your attention to a very special performance of the internationally renowned German electronic music visionary Henrik Schwarz at the ongoing Spring of Culture Festival on 8 and 9 April 2016.
As a producer and performer, Henrik has successfully maintained a balance between electronic music, classical and jazz, and between energetic, highly charged dance sets at huge Techno events and concert performances in seated auditoriums.
On this occasion, Henrik Schwarz will be performing works by the Bahraini composer Majeed Mahoon. There is a special connection between Majeed Mahoon and Germany: The Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra was the first ever to play two of Majeed’s compositions in the 1980’s.
Henrik Schwarz will be joined by the Bahrain Orchestra, Norwegian jazz pianist Bugge Wesseltoft, Hasan Hujairi, Cosmo, and the Ajrass Band.
